Finding Healing in our Suffering with Vicki Gray

This powerful episode of Marinate on That features Dr. Gray's wife, Vicki. She has walked through seasons of extreme suffering that brought on depression. She shares the lessons she learned about God in her suffering and how prayer and His Word brought comfort and lasting transformation.

Vicki Gray is the co-founder of Transformation Church (TC), alongside her husband, Dr. Derwin Gray. TC is a multiethnic, multigenerational, mission-shaped community near Charlotte, NC. Over the years, she has served in many roles, but currently she serves as the Directional Strategy Executive. Prior to co-founding TC, she was the director of One Heart at a Time Ministries, an itinerant speaking ministry she founded with her husband.

She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Clinical Dietetics and International Relations and a minor in Spanish. She is a student at Wheaton working towards an M.A. in Ministry Leadership.

Vicki has over 20 years of experience in ministry leadership, is certified in the DISC assessment, and has a passion for evangelism, spiritual formation, and Scripture. Her heart for shepherding is evident whether she is teaching in front of a large group or sitting down with a friend over coffee.

She and Derwin have been married since 1992 and have two wonderful adult children, Presley and Jeremiah.
